Guarantee for Wiring Devices

Following the date of the purchase invoice, BR Electricals hereby guarantees these products against manufacturing defects for the duration listed in the following table:

1. Mechanical modules — switches and sockets	Lifetime
2. Electronic modules — fan regulators, dimmers	12 months
3. Decorative plates (glass/metal/wood, painted cover plates, PC plates with chrome/colour finish & all modular SKUs with colour paint)	12 months
4. MCBs & isolators	12 months
5. Surface finishes like paints, polish, chrome finish on the above products	12 months

Guarantee Terms and Conditions

• This guarantee is only applicable to the initial buyer of the product in India.
• If a manufacturing flaw is discovered in the product, the company will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product.
• The guarantee for a product that has been repaired or replaced will then only last for the remaining time left on the original guarantee.
• In the event of a faulty product for which a comparable design is not available, the product will be replaced with an equivalent model at that time.
• Defective products duly returned to the company will be the property of the company.
• The company will not be liable to the customer for any monetary loss, business loss, consequential or resultant responsibility, property damage, or any other harm or loss.
• The company will not be responsible for any delays or failures in performance brought on by events outside of its control, such as the unavailability of any parts, labour issues, governmental restrictions and regulations, public movement, war, or any other unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances, including with regard to the import of supplies and raw materials.

Product Guarantee is Void If

• The customer disregards the terms and conditions of the warranty, the installation instructions, or the advice of the authorised service representative, and/or uses the product otherwise than what it was designed to be used for.
• The product has been reconditioned or modified or tampered with.
• Any modifications or changes are made to the original product.
• Any injury is caused by unexpected circumstances such as a force majeure occurrence.
• Damage is caused by accident, negligence, improper maintenance, mishandling, or damage in transit to the customer, or that may be attributable to the customer.
